The Purpose of this privacy statement is to explain how Lester Rouge Productions (referred to hereafter as LRP) processes personal data to fulfil its data protection responsibilities in general terms. The scope of this statement covers all related activities by the staff of LRP.
The Role of LRP in data protection terms is that of a data controller where it determines the purpose and use of the personal data being processed. Once received it becomes the responsibility of the privacy manager (PM), contactable using firstname.lastname@example.org, to ensure that it is processed in accordance with the latest UK data protection legislation.
The sort of personal data processed by LRP will be your basic contact and any financial information needed to follow up general enquiries and provide our services to you. The information being requested will be kept to a minimum and will only be used in relation to the purposes for which it is needed.
LRP’s duty of confidentiality means that LRP staff will treat your personal data with respect and in confidence. It is only disclosed to staff that need to know it. LRP will process your data in the UK and it will be backed up by a trusted third party whose servers are based in the UK & the EU. No personal data is stored on the LRP website server.
LRP follows a retention schedule to determine the length of time it holds different types of personal data. The retention schedule is shown below:
At the end of the retention schedule LRP will either return, destroy or delete your personal data and any associated emails or relevant documentation. If it is technically impractical to delete electronic copies of personal data, it will put it beyond operational use. LRP allows up to 3 months after the retention schedule to complete this action.
